The First Spark Project is back ✨

And this time, we’re beginning The Second Chapter.
We’re looking for singles 50+ in Kamloops and surrounding communities who are open to meeting someone new, without the swiping, endless messaging or pressure of dating apps.

You apply. We get to know you. We thoughtfully choose a match.

Then, on October 25th, two strangers will meet for the very first time at Privato Vineyard & Winery for a date completely planned by Ember & Oak. A beautifully styled picnic, wine, a little adventure through the pumpkin patch, and time to simply talk, laugh and see if there’s a spark. 🤎

And because sometimes the beginning of a story deserves to be remembered, the experience will be naturally captured by Bosley Lens & Co.

Maybe it becomes something more.
Maybe it’s simply one really great first date.
Either way, sometimes the best stories happen later. And sometimes, they start by simply taking a chance.

What a week so far! 🥹 My oldest is starting kindy next week, and I’m feeling ALL the emotions. So incredibly proud of him, but also nervous and excited for this next stage of life.

It honestly feels like just yesterday he was my tiny newborn baby, and now he’s getting ready for BIG KID SCHOOL. 😭 Where does the time go?!

And speaking of exciting things… tonight I’m meeting with Ashlee from Kamloops | Luxury picnics for any occasion and we have something fun in the works! 👀✨

Yesterday I had the absolute honour of second shooting for the sweetest couple! 🤍

I first met them this past winter for a couples session, so when they reached out and asked if I’d come along for their wedding, I couldn’t say no. They were so lovely and easygoing from the very beginning, and I knew it would be such a fun day to be a part of.

I had the best time meeting their friends and family and getting to capture little pieces of their day. It was such a special experience to be a part of. 🥹

And I have to give a huge thank you to for Full Circle Photography for taking me under your wing. You were so welcoming, supportive and encouraging, and you did such a great job showing me the ropes and making me feel comfortable throughout the day. It was such a pleasure working alongside you🤍

I’ll be sharing some of the photos from their day soon and I seriously cannot wait for you guys to see them. 🥹📸✨

Happy Friday friends!
It’s been a pretty quiet week at the Bosley house. I’ve been trying to fight off a cold and doing my best to take things easy in all departments.
I’ve also been slowly getting a few things ready for something happening in October, which is crazy because it really doesn’t feel that far away anymore. Lots of little things to do, but I think we’re almost there.
Other than that, not too much exciting happening around here 😂 Just enjoying a slower week and hoping this cold goes away soon!

My youngest is going through the weirdest stage ever right now 💀 He wakes up around 1:00am and decides it’s time to be awake, and then proceeds to use every excuse in the book to leave his room. 😭😂 It’s usually a solid hour-long process of convincing him that, in fact, it is still nighttime.

My kids have always been amazing sleepers, so I am truly at a loss. Wasn’t aware there was a 3-year sleep regression?! 🥲 Because apparently we’re doing that now. If anyone has tips to deal with this… please comment below 👇 🙏

These two really committed to their bartender roles 🌺🍹

My cousin and her fiancé brought the whole tiki bar to life and had everyone hanging around the bar for the whole party. The drinks, the outfits, the energy… they were definitely one of the highlights of the party. 💯

Did you know I photograph EVENTS too?! 👀

I feel like I don’t talk about this side of my business enough. I genuinely LOVE being around big families, parties and celebrations. I recently co-hosted my mom’s 60th birthday party and we had the BEST time. I got to have way too much fun with all the little details, and it reminded me how much I love the whole event experience.

SIDE NOTE (before you’re all in my DMs for your wedding next year 😆)… I don’t photograph weddings as a main shooter, but I DO love photographing birthdays, family events, milestones, parties and all those big days that also deserve to be remembered.
