I am self-taught but have also had over 20 years of experience in the field. I am Proficient in telling stories with my photos, as I have a unique talent for capturing that special moment in time that you will never get again. I Have a unique style and a knack for listening and communicating to make everyone in the portrait feel beautiful and make them laugh to get a truly natural smile. I am ener
getic, playful with animals, and never afraid to roll in the mud, splash in the water or even just act like an animal myself to take that one shot of your pet’s character. My passion, love, and eye for photography have been a part of me for as long as I can remember. I was about 6 years old the first time I held a camera. I had taken my mother's 110 mm camera 110 films and just uses all the roll-up on our family cat in about 30 minutes. Positioning my cat’s face in the sunlight to catch those majestic yellow eyes was breathtaking. From there I started using 35mm film and started taking portraits of pets, family, and friends. When I was fifteen I got a job at Sears Portrait studio and did photography as a hobby. I did a variety of photography while I was Freelancing including Weddings, Bo***ir, Maternity, Graduations, and seasonal portraits of animals to raise money for a Rescue Group. Pet and Family Photography started while I had 3 jobs, was pregnant, was raising 11 Rottweiler puppies, two adult dogs, and a cat, and keeping up with the household duties. I always tell people that my son was Bred/Raised with the animals and he learned how to walk at 7 months with the dogs, as he held onto each of their backs, walked with no fear, no worries, and all the protection in the world. I am known for my quirky personality, unique poses, on-the-spot imagination, love of all animals, and just finding the true beauty in every human and fur baby. Building trust with my clients comes easily for me. It’s just my unique one of a kind self. My quote is “Portraits are Forever & A Lifetime of Memories”
