Wildfire smoke reached Mississauga today, dramatically changing the city’s skyline. 🌫️

Thick smoke created hazy conditions, reduced visibility, and gave the sky an unusual orange-gray tint. Although the wildfires are burning far from the city, the smoke has traveled hundreds of kilometres, affecting air quality across Southern Ontario.

If you’re heading outside, it’s a good idea to check the Air Quality Health Index and consider limiting prolonged outdoor activities, especially if you have respiratory or heart conditions.

Hoping for improved conditions in the coming days and for everyone’s safety, especially the communities and firefighters directly impacted by the wildfires.

Stay safe and take care. 🌫️🍁
