So we tried the shot again, now at a different wedding.

Last time: bouquet.
This time: bouquet + invites.

Because clearly, I learned nothing. 😂

My second shooter? Helping.
The content creator? Also helping.
Nothing like teamwork.

A bride recently told me why she booked me. And I keep thinking about it a lot.

She has a mixed-race background and her husband is white. After a past shoot where she didn’t feel represented in her own photos, she spent weeks trying to find a photographer for her most important day, going through portfolios asking one question:

Can they photograph both of us, beautifully AND accurately?

She said she found her answer in my work. Five minutes after our consult, she booked me.

The forecast for T & V’s engagement session said overcast with a chance of rain, and I wasn’t worried for a second. It poured right up until we arrived at our second location, then stopped the moment we started shooting. Overcast skies are a giant natural softbox, this is the light photographers dream about ✨
