I little crack at Street Photography. I find it easier when I am a way from home, especially in a touristy town. So how did I do? I processed it paying particular attention to to the intense warm light emphasizing. the summer time feel.

I have not been posting much lately/ Have you ever posted and it just did not get the response you were looking for or it did not look as good in the post as it does on your screen, That one happens much more than I like. It's the lack of engagement that has really shied me away from post. I have plenty of images to show but what is the point. Social media and art is sometimes a strange pairing as the artist you are hoping for positive feedback. But I do not want to make my art with the idea of pleasing the masses. If I do that is it really art? Or just pandering for likes. Art is about self expression and for me if I can move someone to comment and talk to me this is more important. When I went out today to do some yard work. I was greeted by this lil' guy or gal and their mate. I ran in to get my camera and was left with just one rabbit for my photoshoot. This image is actually 2 photos. The main photo was taken of a bee who happened to land on this flower. The second photo the one on top of the Bee is a texture layer set at 25% to soft light. It just adds some texture to the image improves the background bokeh and gives it a more painterly feel. It was taken of my driveway in the spring before I swept up the yellow things that fall off the maple tree next door seedlings perhaps.

I took this 17 years ago, I was taking a picture of a root fence that surrounded this horse farm when the owner came by in his pick up with his young son. He invited me to take some pictures of his horses. He ended up sending his five year old son who helped me get a shot of one of these beautiful horses rolling on his back. Perhaps a future post.
