Allison is a personal brand photographer. As an air force daughter and army wife, she named her company Dandelion Digital after the flower of the base brat. The favourite part of her job is the reaction people have when they first see their images. When scepticism turns into joy, not because they doubted her, but because they hadn't found their confidence yet.

Get to know a little more about Allison in this weeks

Q: What is your "guilty pleasure" background noise while working?
A: It depends on the task. Photo editing is done in silence but anything else is usually a baseball game or a podcast.

Q: What is the most unusual or coolest place you’ve ever traveled to, and why?
My family was posted to Germany when I was in high school so I got 6 years of traveling abroad. Favourite city was Prague. My husband was also posted there and we honeymooned in Kenya.

Q: What movie have you’ve rewatched so many times you can practically quote it?
A: My kids won't watch Empire Strikes Back or Lethal Weapon with me anymore.

Q: If you could invite any three people—living, dead, or fictional—to a dinner party, who is at the table?
A: My dinner guest would be 1. Marlyn Munro. More than a Hollywood icon, she was a true female entrepreneur. 2 James Dean, cuz James Dean! 3. Sherlock Holmes - I love his mind.

Here's something new for the Signature Session this summer: 30 images is the starting point, not the limit.

Once you're past that floor, the gallery is unlimited. No capped count, no extra invoice to get more. You shoot the half-day, then decide what you need, whether that's the 15, 30 or the complete gallery.

This isn't about handing you more photos to sort through. It's about making sure you're not left choosing between a useful gallery and a budget.

Summer also means we're not stuck shooting at a desk. Outdoor settings, natural light, more lifestyle in the mix alongside the business shots. Thinks streetscapes, beaches, trails. The kind of variety that's harder to get once everyone's back inside for fall.
