I don’t know what I did to deserve this, but so many of my recent sessions have been with brand new babies and I feel so lucky. 🤍 most recently getting to meet sweet little Lainey.

There’s nothing like those first few days, the slow pace, the way everything feels soft and new. Being trusted to step into that space and document it is something I’ll never take for granted.

When is the best time to book your maternity session?

I always recommend around 28–32 weeks. Right around the 7 month mark.

Your belly is beautifully round and “popped,”
but you’re usually still comfortable enough to move, walk, and actually enjoy the session.

After 34–36 weeks, swelling, fatigue, and discomfort can make it harder to feel like yourself.
Earlier than 26 weeks, and some mamas don’t quite have that full bump yet.

Of course every pregnancy is different,
but if you want that sweet spot of glowing + comfortable, 7 months is usually it 🤍

If you’re due this summer/fall, now is the time to get on my calendar.
