I wanted to share a photo that I have picked for my soon-to-be-published memoir.

I arrived at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon on my 48th birthday as part of my 26,000 km bike tour from Canada to Belize.
The next day, hiking into the canyon, I caught my very first bullsnake. This was definitely a highlight for me.

From scrubbing 🚻, to long-haul 🚛, to 💔, to cycling 🚲 26,000 km across 🇨🇦 🇺🇸 and 🇲🇽 through the 2019–2020 Canadian winter 🇨🇦❄️🥶, Covid-19, and the scorching desert 🥵 before finally arriving in the tropical 🌴 jungles of 🇧🇿 in 2021
