I wrote this post 5 years ago, before biking through Mexico. I haven't exactly been to too many new places since arriving in Belize, but it's a nice post for me to revisit every once in a while.
My biggest update would be to add the Grand Canyon and a handful of Mexican places, such as Copper Canyon, Guanajuato, Mexico City, and Puebla.
Perhaps you've seen those meme competitions on Facebook about getting a point for every place you've visited. I wonder how many points you might get from my post?
