The last while has shaken me to my core in ways I can’t fully put into words, but I can create. Seeing someone you love go through something terrifying changes you. It changes the way you think, the way you move through life, the way you see people, time, love… everything.

There’s a version of me before this, and there’s a version of me after. The version after understands life differently.

I think hardship has a way of stripping everything down to what is actually real. The distractions lose their grip. The things we thought mattered so deeply suddenly feel small. You start realizing how fragile life really is, and how quickly everything can change without warning.

I’ve learned that time is the most valuable thing we have, yet we spend so much of our lives acting like there will always be more of it.

Then life humbles you in a way that makes you realize how magical ordinary moments actually are.
A quiet morning. A conversation. A laugh you didn’t know you needed. The people sitting around your table.

I’ve gained a different kind of wisdom through all of this. It’s pain that teaches you when the world gets still and stops turning what do you really have? I’ve learned that strength doesn’t always look loud. Sometimes strength is simply continuing. Sometimes it’s learning how to appreciate the present moments while knowing nothing is guaranteed.

I don’t think I’ll ever see life the same way again and maybe that’s part of being human.
We break.
We grow.
We grieve.
We love deeper.
Inside the hardest moments, we become more awake to how precious this life really is.

This shoot carries the real metaphor. The tension between restriction and release. The clear plastic represents something so many of us go through but can’t always name. It’s transparent but there’s this barrier wrapping, clinging…suffocating. Life doesn’t always trap us with obvious walls. Sometimes it’s the invisible thing you can’t always see. From the outside, everything can look completely normal.

The ripping.
The resistance.
The fight to break through.

This is for moms who keep showing up every single day, there’s something so special in that. Even if it isn’t Mother’s Day. This session wasn’t just about the photos, it held memorable clothing, jewelry, timelines and a tiny version of how life is now.

It’s the kind of moments that become memories before you even realize it. They become proof of a season, a feeling, a version of life you’ll never get back in the exact same way again and I think that’s so special. 🖤

You don’t need to book a photographer to support them. That does help…however; most people think support = money.
It doesn’t.

It’s the comment that actually means something or the share with context. It’s the recommendation in a conversation when our name comes up. It’s the way you don’t treat our work like disposable content.

The truth is a lot of people are watching our work quietly, benefiting from it, even inspired by it…
but never saying a word.

Silence doesn’t grow artists.
If something stops you mid-scroll, say it.
If you love someone’s work, share it.
If you believe in what they’re building, speak it.
That’s how creatives grow.
That’s how businesses survive.
That’s how the right people find us.

Trust me when I say this….we always remember who showed up for us.
