Happy Halloween from my sonshines 🥹☀️

Part one of building Chuck’s Halloween costume around his wheelchair!!

I found a picture from a blog online, from many years back. Cam and I are both PADI divers, so the second I saw it, I knew it was what I wanted to build for Chuck.

Thank you Sarah Halstead for sharing this build that you made for your son. Even years later, it is still inspiring other parents, and now it gets to be part of our Halloween too.

Phase 1 was measuring, cutting, and figuring out how 40 feet of PVC pipe starts turning into his costume. O, also 3 trips to home depot 😆

Stay tuned for part two for the reveal 🦈💛

you know I’m in my More Like Mom era, learning to make things the way my mom made them for us. and honestly, the process of making it is half the gift!

I did another no sew project and cut WINNIPEG JETS out of Jets fabric, and turns out, this fabric is perfect for patch making as well.

the front is so perfect! the back is where things kind of fell off the rails, but we will just make it better next time 😅

Tomorrow he flies out to Winnipeg with dad for his first HOME GAME 💙✈️

I know they are going to have so much fun
