The Water Not Coal petition organizers are doing a Ride for Water that started near Longview AB on May 16th and will end in Edmonton to raise awareness about the Coal mining activities planned for the eastern slopes of our Rockies and give people a chance to sign the petition.

New drone demo reel is up!

This is the most crucial test of the new Mavic 3 Pro Cine. How well does the camera handle low light/night shots? Small camera sensors have always given grainy, almost unacceptable video but I find this one pretty good. The blacks look pretty clean and you can see a bit of noise come through in the hazy night sky but still far better than what the Mavic 2 Pro produced.

More details about the Mavic 3 Pro Cine that I added to our services. This drone features three different cameras with different focal lengths. Here is a comparison of the widest and the tightest lenses.

This was done on a fairly windy day and a really good test of how stable the drone flies and how well the gimbal holds the shot on a long reach.

Fleet upgrades!
I am pleased to announce the addition of the DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine and the Mavic Mini 3 Pro to my drone services.

Noteworthy specs of the M3 Pro Cine include: three different cameras with different focal lengths and 5.1K ProRes D-log video.

Noteworthy spec of the Mini: it shoots vertically and its under the 250g regulation.
