Pink hues and grey leftover from winter. First day back volunteering was a blast. I’m always so blown away by how much the garden feels empty at the start of the season but is so full of life and colour by the end.

Join me Sunday, December 14 at the .community.market (9630 66Ave) from 11-4pm. I’ve made some new ornaments designs and some super cute mushroom ‘houses’. Plus several amanitas, morels and Christmas pickles! I also have a few mushroom puzzles available.

6 new Merry Mushroom canister ornaments will be available starting tomorrow at my sister’s vendor booth at .ca. Plus two super cute pyrex inspired ones.

I’ll also be a vendor at the .community.market on Sunday, December 14 and will have a wide selection of mushroom ornaments available, including more of these cute canisters!!

Garlic still life. Almost feels like an oil painting. I had to play around in the studio with these heads of garlic before planting in the garden. I picked these beauties up at the Green and Gold Garden.
I love any task at the that involves garlic. Can’t explain why. It’s just a beautiful crop. I love that it goes in the ground at the end of the season and we get to see it come alive in the spring.

Happy thanksgiving fellow Canadians! Wishing everyone a delicious weekend full of gratitude and happiness.

It also means it’s the annual pumpkin/squash/gourd photoshoot. Was inspired by the purple and pinks in this gorgeously ugly pumpkin.
