I have never printed any of my photos very large till now. When I went to Africa I was asked if I could gay a nice elephant photo for my sister in law in a vertical format. Surprisingly that is harder to do as I could horizontally worked better. So I am thrilled at how this turned out! It is going to look fantastic when it is framed. Size 30 x 50. The Norther Flickr has become a favourite bird of mine. The beautiful colouring is a flash of beauty when they fly by. These birds are a woodpecker but mainly eat ants and beetles that they find on the ground. Occasionally I get one in my yard.

I still cannot believe the photos I got at that stunning Aurora show Mother Nature gave us. The jewel tones was a beautiful painters palette in the sky. We got to Elk Island early and waited patiently, met some lovely people from the USA who were visiting and came to the Park, when suddenly the lights seemed to burst out of the sky. There wasn't that many photographers there yet but everyone jumped to their cameras and started shooting. The oohs and awes were everywhere as we saw the on the backs of the cameras what we were getting! I had always hoped to get this kind of shots one day and now am so happy I did! Definitely want to print some of these for the wall! ,
