I just got word that I received a Studio Portraiture accreditation from the Professional Photographers of Canada using these portraits I've made over the years. I like most styles of portraiture but I particularly like ones that look similar to Rembrandt portraits or when probes & shutter drag are used to create blurring and what's called ghosting.

A couple of portraits I made with a beautiful dark skinned women recently that I think came out quite well. I really like this style of portraiture. Facebook weakens the quality a bit but they still look good if I don't say so myself.

I enjoy a wide variety of portrait styles but this I have to say that this is the sort of portraiture that I really like - it's classic and beautiful and deserves to be hanging on the walls of a home where they can be appreciated daily.

This is an image I made in 2019 with Khan that met the PPA's standards which are very high. A lot of really good images aren't accepted due to technical or compositional flaws that most people generally don't notice or care about. Most of the images I submitted didn't make the grade.

Since only 4 images can be submitted per year with a maximum of 2 merits (one at the District and one at the International levels) achieving the Master's designation would take at least 2 years and be almost impossible to do in that time.

I'll probably submit again if I have some images that I feel will have a chance of being accepted.
