Keeping each other close while staying far apart! Today we had a couple “pop in guests” on selfiebot. We sang , we ate cake and ended with grandma playing robot and chasing the kids.

Rico the robot will be happily hanging out with a talented all star lineup during this summers elopement weddings at a new amazing venue called Trestles Edge!

His most important job will be to live stream the ceremony to virtual friends and family. After the ceremony he will entertain the celebrating guests with his cheeky personality and roam the grounds taking his token "selfiebot" selfies with any human he can find.

Looking forward to creating more Canadian bot-crushes!

What’s the sound a sad robot makes? With yesterday’s announcement on the ban of gatherings until the end of August we were feeling bummed out. We started this new business and all the stars were aligning when the pandemic hit and we didn’t even make it out the front door. Our business isn’t done... it’s just in hibernation for a bit until the earth heals. Until then maybe we will take Rico the robot for a stroll around the neighbourhood. Say hi or give us a honk if you see us.

Our roaming selfiebot has been in social isolation and feeling a little dusty. To spark some joy he’s been joining some of my favourite online activities every day. Every day our favourite has a live dance party at 3 pm mst.

Proud robot mom right here! A little about me... I’m Jessica, the robot mom and content creator at Beep Photo. I run a newborn photography studio called . Beep Photo was created because I love me a good photobooth but don’t always like all the cheese that goes along with them. My newborn photography is very minimalistic which inspired me to create an event photography business that focuses on just the subjects and the beautiful event venue. There is a time and place for boas and cheese hats but Rico the robot is bringing some class into galas, weddings, cool parties and grand openings that is a brand new concept. Our robot baby is close to 6 feet tall and equipped with a beauty light. He will roam around your event, light up those event guests not just with his ring light but with their smiles while interacting with a robot. Me and my husband are so proud to own Canada’s first selfiebot and are looking forward to having his prints scattered on the fronts of your fridge for years to come.
