What an interesting turn of events.

As I was out location scouting at this unique spot (literally in the middle of nowhere Saskatchewan), this beautiful little family turned up to check out the spot as well.

Andrew and Danielle happened to be passing through from Calgary and had no idea that they would get an impromptu little session when they stopped at this spot :P

They were super gracious and allowed me to share the images with you guys and I couldn't be happier to show them off!

We played and had fun in the warm sunshine and just enjoyed the magic of the place.

She’s perfect. 🤍

This photo specifically spoke to me. The colours, her expression, and the feeling overall reminded me of the painting Girl with a Pearl Earring by Johannes Vermeer. I definitely don’t compare my work to Johannes in the slightest, just inspired. 😉

I had the pleasure of working with Aaliyah Kienle under the mentorship of Chris Love. I absolutely love collaborating with other artists, creatives, and humans. There is always something to learn and something to share with one another. 🤍

How I truly loved capturing this beautiful family!

This session was filled with love and connection and I was absolutely blown away with how they were willing to embrace the time we had together in spite of the wind and rain!

We danced to Frozen songs in the field and just had a wonderful time together 🤍
