The road officially closed for the season a few days back on October 12th. I have so many good memories at this lake from over the years. Many I’ll cherish forever.

Name a prettier major highway. I’ll wait 🍁❄️

This is the Trans Canada Highway as it approaches the town of Banff in Banff National Park, Alberta. The mountains you see here are the Canadian Rockies which encompass an area I believe everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime.
The Trans Canada Highway is a road that passes through all 10 Canadian provinces and spans almost 8000km.

The section between Calgary, Alberta and Golden, British Columbia has got to be one of the most scenic stretches of major highway in the world. While you’re here I’d recommend adding on a trip North to Jasper or continuing your journey West all the way through to Vancouver.
