and so it begins

✨✨✨

story time for this session!
we arrived at this location just moments before the rain started pouring, but we decided to wait it out. when the rain finally passed, we started making our way to the location, expecting a little mud—but definitely not the mud pits we were about to encounter… 😂

what is normally a five-minute walk turned into a 20-minute adventure through giant puddles and very slippery mud. this family and grad were absolute troopers, even taking their shoes off and walking barefoot through the mud to get there. also… shoutout to the men in the middle of getting a truck unstuck that held our hands as we crossed so we didn’t fall in… thankfully, I had baby wipes in my car, so we were able to clean up afterwards!

but, it ended up being so, so worth it and I am so glad we stuck with this location because that golden hour was absolutely stunning on her!
