There is a shift that happens during grad sessions. You watch families look at their graduate and suddenly see the kid they raised and the adult they’re becoming, all at once.

This photo holds so much weight. It’s her mama doing up her dress and realizing, with a bittersweet heart, that the next chapter like this will be a wedding gown.

Getting to document the years of love from the people who built these graduates up is why I love what I do. It’s a beautiful reminder to hold your babies close and tell them you love them—time is a thief, but these memories are forever. ✨🎓

I didn’t fall in love with photography because of the settings or the gear. I fell in love with it because of the stories. The way a single image can hold a core memory, a specific season of life, and a whole lot of love.
