They're baaaaa aaaack!!!

The Red Deer Symphony Orchestra launched their 40th Season to a sold out audience 😃

10/16/2026

My photography career blossomed during pandemic lockdowns by offering free “porch portraits” to over 120 isolated families and growing into The SnapHappy Photographer.

I've not stopped delivering porch portraits, and now share my passion for connection with another community minded business behind the Grinchy character, Main Artery Designs 💚

AND...this weekend...I'll be introducing another seasonal character who'll be sharing in the holiday porch portrait season as well! ❤️

Some of you are already on the VIP list 😉

Well, THAT escalated quickly.

Apparently, some of you have been waiting for your annual dose of green-furred bad decisions!

Our Red Deer VIPs had 48 hours to book before the general public...and one Red Deer date is already FULL!

FULL.
As in, no more porch-side grumpiness to be had that day.

The second date still has a few openings, so if you want the mean one making himself at home on your front steps, now's your chance.

We're so excited to bring a touch of historic European charm to your home this holiday season!

We hope you invite us for a unique PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN porch portrait experience featuring Saint Nick, a character inspired by the cozy, rustic traditions of the Old World Father Christmas.

Dressed for a crisp winter journey, his gentle, storied presence brings the quiet wonder of an old-fashioned holiday straight to your doorstep.

It is a wonderful way to capture a timeless, memory right in front of your home with loved ones.

As our season of green approaches. We just want to remind everyone of a few key rules!
1. Well, let's face it. There are no rules with him!! He's hard to please.
2. It's porch portraits, yes, outdoors on your front step! No traveling required on your part. Unless you'd rather meet us at an outdoor location within the city!
3. It's pay what you can. Community is important, and bringing joy is even more important!
4. Must be in the city limits!
5. Get creative!! HAVE FUN!!
