A Little Blue Dream
Some birds quietly steal your heart… and for me, the Red-cheeked Cordon-bleu is one of them 🙂 I first noticed this tiny beauty a couple of years ago with my guide friend Philip. Last year, while out with another great guide and friend, Tony, I finally got the opportunity I had been dreaming of. For a few magical seconds, this little bird landed exactly where I had hoped and opened its wings for me. Moments like these are why I keep returning to the wild.
