It’s been a little while since I’ve properly introduced myself, and with the recent rebrand to Lazy Hound Photography, I figured now was the perfect time.
I’m Nicole
The face behind the camera, the horse lover, the dog mom, and the person who’s probably going to ask you to walk, laugh, and just be yourself instead of staring awkwardly at my lens. 😅
Photography has been part of my life since I was a teenager. My dad first introduced me to a camera, and what started as taking photos for friends slowly turned into something I’m incredibly passionate about.
If you’ve followed me for a while, you already know my heart belongs out in the country. I love horses, wide-open spaces, sunsets, muddy boots, and the kind of moments that can’t be recreated. That’s exactly what I try to capture every time I pick up my camera.
You’ll never hear me say, “Smile on three!” Instead, I want you to interact with the people (or animals) you love. I’ll guide you when you need it, but my favourite images are always the ones that happen naturally.
Whether you’re booking a family session, bringing your horse, celebrating a new chapter, or just wanting photos that actually feel like you, I’d be honoured to capture it.
