Pretty incredible to see a project I had the privilege of editing recognized as a 2026 Rosie Awards nominee. 🎬

I Carry You is a deeply moving story about love, loss, grief, healing, and the people who help carry us through the hardest moments.

I was fortunate to be the editor on this production, working alongside an incredibly talented team to help shape Marcella’s story into something that hopefully connects with people on the other side of the screen.

And now to see the project recognized with nominations for Best Director – Unscripted Under 30 Minutes and Best Corporate Production – Under $30K is pretty damn special.

A big congratulations to Allan Leader and everyone involved in bringing this story to life—and a huge thank you to Janis Care Services.

One of the things I love most about editing is helping bring real human stories to life.

I recently had the opportunity to edit this powerful piece for Allan Leader of Leader Production Services and Janis Care Services (JCS).

Marcella’s story is one of love, loss, resilience, and healing. After witnessing her mother battle brain cancer, Marcella found strength through the support of the caregivers at JCS who became a lifeline for her family during their darkest chapter. Following her mother’s passing, she embarked on an extraordinary long-distance run carrying her mother’s urn every step of the way — a tribute that symbolized the way her mother once carried her through life.

It’s an emotional and deeply human story, and I’m grateful to have played a small role in helping shape and tell it through editing.

I truly love crafting stories through video, especially projects that connect emotionally and leave an impact.
