Given recent happenings in Puerto Vallarta, the subject of holidays there has become a touchy item. I'm not here to promote nor diminish the idea of going on holidays there, nor am I going to discuss the airline circumstances that affected many Canadian travelers, so if you're looking for a good ole' internet trolling session, walk away, it's not here.
I do want to share our moments on our holiday however, and say that we had an amazing holiday despite being displaced by the recent events and returning to Canada nearly a week after our intended return date of February 22nd. We travelled together, a party of seven, and we were separated through our return flights home but fortunately, all of us have returned home and resumed our daily life.
We witnessed my stepson's engagement, as well as many other special moments and sights as we toured the area and visited the beaches, and we made new friends.
