Kongur Foss… The sheer spectacle of this place was a marvel to behold, the photos don’t make the size of these falls quite overt - they’re absolutely massive up close. Driving up to the Northwest region of Iceland was very, very scenic as well, weaving in and out of massive fjords along the coastline while cruising atop steep cliffs on gravel roads. Easily worth the long trek, I’d definitely return here for a longer session of sheer awe given the opportunity.

Perfectly imperfect… Some of the most interesting things on earth are those observed on a regular basis, in varying lighting, weather and angles. Quite literally in this case, an island and a tree - from the ground up it’s not significant in anyway, but when viewed from the air downward they can be framed with such eloquence, especially on a calm summer evening. Using the DJI Mavic 4 Pro and all three of the lenses, 28mm, 70mm and the 168mm, I was able to amass quite the little photo shoot of this close-to-home island.

Canoe believe the view… I’ve been meaning to get out on the water and take some canoe shots, and theres no better time than a beautiful sunny day in July. This canoe in particular, is a fresh hand-crafted design that my uncle built over the winter months, and while it paddles great on the water, it’s amazing just to look at.

Using the Tamron Lenses 35-150mm F/2-2.8 Di III XD allowed me to take every shot I needed - from wide-angle lake views, to detailed shots of the canoe framework.
