A little reminder: You never have to let me share your photos to be my client — your family photos belong to you, not to my social media. ❤️
I’ve noticed more and more families choosing to keep their photos private, and honestly, I completely understand.
I never want anyone to feel awkward bringing it up, so I wanted to say this publicly:
I am 100% okay if you want your photos kept private or anonymous.
Your decision will never hurt my feelings, offend me, or change the way I photograph your session.
At the end of the day, these photos are your memories. They’re for your walls, your albums, your children, and your family.
They’re not being created for my Instagram feed.
They’re being created for your children to look back on one day.
For the framed portraits hanging in your hallway.
For the album you pull out years from now.
For the memories that become more valuable with every passing year.
If you’d like your gallery kept completely private, that’s absolutely okay.
If you’re comfortable with me sharing only images where your children’s faces aren’t visible, that’s okay too.
Your session will be photographed exactly the same way as any other session. You’ll receive the same variety of images, moments, and connections as every other family who steps in front of my camera.
And if you’re happy for me to share your photos, I am incredibly grateful for that trust.
No matter what you choose, my job stays the same.
My job is to help you hold onto the moments that won’t stay little forever. ❤️
