Sometimes we think peace only exists in places far away.
We save pictures of oceans we’ve never seen, dream about countries we’ve never visited, and forget the beauty that has been quietly waiting for us right here at home.

The day I captured these moments at Gaborone Dam, I stood there speechless.

The sound of the water.
The clouds resting perfectly over the mountains.
The stillness.
The peace.

For a moment, life slowed down.

And I could not believe that such breathtaking beauty had always been in front of me all this time.
