It has been exactly a year since I started photographing people other than my family and posting on this page 🥹 and on Saturday, my LLC turns 1️⃣ whole year's old 🧁✨
What was supposed to be my 'soft launch year' as I finished my last year of Grad school and grew clientele and learned the ins and outs of the professional artist industry, turned into a bonafide whole entire business at the speed of light 💫
I have held this art and calling significantly, but loosely, to let it take shape and evolve into a way that would continually be honoring to The Lord, and compatible with my other job and family-life balance 🙏🏼 every time I prayed to God to shut it down if I'm doing the wrong thing, He sent me more clients and encouragement out of 'nowhere' 🥲, so- I'm gonna keep building this brick by brick as long as that happens ♥️

To all my unlikely and new and genuine photographer bestie friends and vendor pals! It has been sooo nice to get to know so many lovely people and businesses in the local community. This has honestly probably been my favorite part of this other than getting to glorify God with my business and meet such sweet clients, many of whom turned to genuine friends! You enrich my life more than you can know 💛
To my family and husband- I literally could not have done this in this way without y'all when I had to be away for work and also working the long hours at home editing galleries etc. while juggling all our kids and other life things! And if you didn't know- you can thank my husband for me doing this at all, for- he banded the family together to get me such an amazing first camera and lens that I have been able to capture really any type of session with ease and excellence; people ask him how I started the business and he says "I just got her the camera and she did all the rest!" 😆🥰😎
