It's now August...which means it's baby watch month! 🤸🏻‍♀️🥳

T-33 days from due date when I took these yesterday in front of our fig tree with my retro and gold mist lens filter stack and my cam on tripod for some quick nostalgic Summer whimsy. Yes it was approximately 800 degrees here but I took these because I wanted to have a picture of my "9 Months In" because I look forward to doing a "9 Months Out" comparison and what better time than the 'last' time hehe ☺️; my daughter Rylee got me this top blouse featured for my 38th birthday that just passed and said it was for "when I'm not pregnant" 😆 and it's honestly my perfect usual style paired with jeans and boots when I am in my not pregnant seasons lol 😉 so I plan to wear the same stuff for my 9 Months Out pics🤍

My other children arrived naturally at 38+5, 39+5, and 38+2, so will be interesting to see how #4 compares! I have a personal desire for it to be at least a ~week after my daughter is back in school, so Friday the 21st (38+2) would be perfect! Hehe 🙏🏼 as we know, though- babies usually come when they Do and not when they are Due! 😉 and God's timing + plan is to be sought above all ✨

Some faves from this beautiful and love-filled family who were the winners of my 600-Follower Giveaway 🥹🌾🧡 (I run one for every new 100th milestone!)

These were originally going to be coupled as maternity photos, but due to Mama needing to reschedule, they turned out even sweeter as a new family addition session!! 😍 this sweet darling baby girl just napped and had her eyes closed the entire time, basking in the warmth of the field and the embrace of her family at 7 weeks young 🥹

Mom and dad + big brother were also as sweet as can be! I love it when a Good thing comes together 🥰

I love to capture so many different types of scenes and occasions with photography, but one type of art that pulls closest to my heart is at home sessions 🏡🤎

I know firsthand that being a busy mom with so many other responsibilities as well can make you feel like your home or life is too much of a mess to fit in one more thing, but the beauty of home sessions is not having to go anywhere and perfectly time-up naps and travel times and curve balls and varying moods :) I promise that a well-lit window, normal clothes of the day and their favorite toys will go such a long way to help preserve the beauty of this life you're working so hard to build for them ☺️🫶🏼

I'm in more of an intentional alignment than 'growth' time and full to the brim with ideas for home and/or farm sessions for any season of life! I'm a 'yapper' too so always glad to plan a unique session together with what you have in mind! ;) ✨

It has been exactly a year since I started photographing people other than my family and posting on this page 🥹 and on Saturday, my LLC turns 1️⃣ whole year's old 🧁✨

What was supposed to be my 'soft launch year' as I finished my last year of Grad school and grew clientele and learned the ins and outs of the professional artist industry, turned into a bonafide whole entire business at the speed of light 💫

I have held this art and calling significantly, but loosely, to let it take shape and evolve into a way that would continually be honoring to The Lord, and compatible with my other job and family-life balance 🙏🏼 every time I prayed to God to shut it down if I'm doing the wrong thing, He sent me more clients and encouragement out of 'nowhere' 🥲, so- I'm gonna keep building this brick by brick as long as that happens ♥️

Thank you Dearly to everyone who took a chance on me, wrote a review, shared, reposted, referred, prayed, booked, liked, loved, and poured into this dream! You are the sails of this ship! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

To all my unlikely and new and genuine photographer bestie friends and vendor pals! It has been sooo nice to get to know so many lovely people and businesses in the local community. This has honestly probably been my favorite part of this other than getting to glorify God with my business and meet such sweet clients, many of whom turned to genuine friends! You enrich my life more than you can know 💛

To my family and husband- I literally could not have done this in this way without y'all when I had to be away for work and also working the long hours at home editing galleries etc. while juggling all our kids and other life things! And if you didn't know- you can thank my husband for me doing this at all, for- he banded the family together to get me such an amazing first camera and lens that I have been able to capture really any type of session with ease and excellence; people ask him how I started the business and he says "I just got her the camera and she did all the rest!" 😆🥰😎
