Good things and hard things happen to both good and bad people.

Jesus reminds us that God causes the sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous (Matthew 5:45).

What matters most isn’t what happens to us, it’s how we respond. That’s why spending time with God every morning in His Word and in prayer is so important. It prepares our hearts for the day and helps us respond with grace and love that isn’t natural to us, but only possible with Christ’s help.

Matthew 5:45

Christmas is such a wonderful time of year. This year in Montana, it feels a little different. There is no snow on the ground, and it does not quite look like Christmas. But snow is not what Christmas is really about. I have to remind myself that when Jesus was born, there probably was not any snow either.

This season is a special time to remember why we celebrate. Not just now, but all year. It is a time to pause and be grateful that Jesus came into this world to be our salvation.

“She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21

“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19:10

“Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.” 1 Timothy 1:15

I am Grateful for the greatest Gift of all 🤍✨
