SixFeetPhotography - 6ftP Get Close Robert Capa famously pointed out that "if your photographs aren't good enough, you're not close enough." Attempting, failing, succeeding, it’s ongoing.

Photography has always been about this exercise for me. “Getting close”, however, isn’t always a question of physical proximity, the much-debated ideal distance for photojournalists being 6 feet (more or less 2 metres). Closeness is equally a question of listening, of understanding. Closeness is a bond, however temporary, between the photographer and the person in their pictures. As long as I can get close.
