Funny how some connections come full circle.

I first met Goran R. years ago in nightlife, where he was my promoter for several events. Through him, I also had the chance to meet so many amazing people. Some of those connections have stayed with me over the years, and I’m genuinely grateful for that.

Now we’ve swapped roles for a day. Instead of promoting me, he stepped in front of my camera.

One thing I always tell people is that I don’t really do “photoshoots.” I simply create a space where you can relax, be yourself, and enjoy the moment. The best portraits happen when you stop thinking about the camera.

It’s always special when someone who already knows you in one way puts their trust in you in a completely different role. Moments like these remind me that photography is all about people and the connections you build along the way.

Thanks for the trust, Goran. Looking forward to crossing paths again soon.

Somewhere along the way, we made weddings all about the bride.

The dress.
The shoes.
The first look.

And rightly so.

But there’s another story unfolding at the very same time.

A groom buttoning up his shirt.
Trying his tie for the third time.
Looking in the mirror and realizing, this is actually happening today.

No spotlight.
No big entrance.
Just a few quiet moments before one of the biggest “yes” of his life.

I always love photographing that part too.

Because a wedding isn’t about one person shining.

It’s about two people, each with their own story, getting ready to write the next chapter together.

The groom deserves to be remembered just as much.

Maybe life was never meant to be understood.

We spend years trying to figure everything out.
Trying to control people, moments, feelings, outcomes.
Trying to hold on to things that were always temporary.

But life isn’t a puzzle.
It’s a wave.

Maybe that’s why I fell in love with photography.
Not to freeze life forever, but to document the feeling of a moment before it disappears.

A glance.
A street in Rome.
A passing emotion.
A version of ourselves that will never exist again.

Somewhere between these streets and these memories, I realized how temporary we all are.

Maybe life was never about finding all the answers.

Maybe it was always about feeling it while it lasts.

The best men often shape the atmosphere of a wedding day more than people realise.
From helping the groom get ready to keeping the energy relaxed and making sure every detail stays on track - their role is often essential from morning until night.

At Château de Robernier, surrounded by the warm Provençal setting, these moments between the groom and his closest friends felt just as meaningful as the ceremony itself.

As second shooter during this destination wedding in the South of France, I focused on those natural interactions - the laughter, support, small gestures and unspoken connection that often become some of the strongest memories of the day.

Wedding photography is also about everything happening around the couple - because those are the moments that complete the story.

Some weddings stay with you for years - even before you touch the images again.

Back in 2024, I had the chance to travel to the Tuscan countryside near Florence, invited by to join this beautiful destination wedding as her second shooter.

Long days, warm light, refined details, and the kind of atmosphere that reminds you why destination weddings have something truly special.

Recently, I came across these images again and felt it was time to re-edit them the way I originally had in mind. Sometimes certain stories deserve a second life when viewed again with fresh eyes.
