Hugard & Vanoverschelde Photography Studio specialises in reproductions and photographs of art exhib

Hugard & Vanoverschelde photography studio was created by two young artists-photographers in Autumn 2011. First of all artists, they consider that photographing art works and exhibitions requires an understanding of the artworks’ particularities and of their perception in space. Benjamin Hugard studied at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts of Villa Arson in Nice, France. He obtained a degree in fi

ne arts (DNSEP) in 2007 and holds a master’s degree from the Haute Ecole d'Art et de Design of Geneva, obtained in 2008. Antoine Vanoverschelde studied at the Ecole Supérieure des Arts appliqués Duperrée as well as at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris (ENSAD), where he obtained a master’s degree in 2007.

Xavier Hufkens is currently presenting a new exhibition of works by Thierry De Cordier spanning the period from 1983 to today — none of which have previously been exhibited. The exhibition, nonetheless, is not intended to be a retrospective.

De Cordier might best be described as a non-academic thinker who makes things. His oeuvre includes, but is not limited to, photographs, drawings, placards, paintings, sculptures, assemblages and bricolages, and is a philosophy expressed in images.

Galerie Greta Meert is pleased to present Richard Tuttle's sixth solo exhibition with the gallery, 18x24, introducing a series of wall pieces created in his studio in New Mexico.

Forms - shapes, gestures, and written words - drawn on sheets of 18x24 inch paper, are rendered, by the artist’s very personal methodology, in styrofoam, into works evading definition as sculpture, painting, collage, installation, or assemblage, transcending their humble materials into a mirage-like abstractions, lyrical gestures in rich, often monochromatic color.

His work is widely recognised for its ability to evoke poetry from the ordinary, concerning the myriad ways in which light, scale, color, and systems of meaning flow from his art into the world; that art can be a fundamental means of influencing life itself.

Yuki Hayama was born in Arita one of the birthplaces of Japanese porcelain ware. At a very young age, he started working in a local workshop and was taught the ancestral knowledge of the region. At the age of 23, he established his own kiln, seamlessly blending tradition with contemporary elements.
