Two years ago, I found out that Belgium is home to European tree frogs.
Ever since then, finding one in the wild has been high on my photography bucket list.
This tiny little frog was absolutely worth the wait. So small, unbelievably cute, and glowing in beautiful shades of green and gold that almost didn't seem real.
This encounter also gave me the perfect opportunity to try something new. This is my very first focus stack, created by combining 8 images to keep this tiny subject sharp from front to back.
There's still a lot to learn, but I'm genuinely happy with how it turned out.
Macro photography is definitely something I want to explore more.
