Confession:

I secretly wait all day for the party to start 😏

Don’t get me wrong : the ceremony is beautiful, the couple shoot is magic…

but once the lights drop and the dance floor fills up? That’s where the real stories happen.

Maybe it’s my past as a party photographer, but this part of the day? That’s where I feel completely in my element.

Spotting moments in the madness, catching moves mid-air, and freezing that one second everyone will laugh about later.

So yes… I love a good party. And wedding parties?

They’re undefeated 🕺💥

Wedding season is already in full swing, and somehow I forgot to share some of the very first moments I captured this year…

Here’s one I absolutely love: right after saying “I do”, this groom carried his bride across the iconic square in Antwerp: pure joy, pure energy, and a moment they’ll never forget.

These are the kind of memories that make this job so special 🤍

Soms heb je van die momenten waarop je iemand ziet groeien… en je hart gewoon overloopt.

Onlangs mocht ik A Happy Habit vastleggen: het nieuwe avontuur van mijn vrouw, en ik kan alleen maar zeggen: wauw.

Niet alleen omdat ze prachtig is (dat weet iedereen...), maar vooral omdat ze zo’n ongelooflijke passie en rust uitstraalt in wat ze doet.

Ik ben enorm trots op haar. Op de stap die ze zet. Op de warmte die ze in elk detail stopt. En vooral op hoe ze anderen helpt ontspannen in een wereld die dat soms vergeet.

Dus bij deze: een klein duwtje in de rug voor haar grote droom.

En een grote shout-out naar iedereen die haar wil steunen, volgen of eens wil langskomen bij A Happy Habit.
Ze verdient het!

Wedding season is slowly coming to an end, which means I finally have time to dive back into my own travel photos! 🌴📸

Right now I’m reliving our trip through Costa Rica, and I stumbled upon this little gem: a red-legged honeycreeper I spotted in the rain(forest). Nature truly knows how to impress.

This roadside hawk in Costa Rica clearly wasn’t having the best day, but hey, we’ve all been there. Sometimes, you just gotta perch on a rusty goalpost, stare into the distance, and let the rain do its thing. Mood.
