Magical Techniques to Spend Long Hours at Your Study Table
Before going to your study table, plan what you are going to study the day before. Make a plan and get to work. As the saying goes, "A better plan is half the work done."
1. Keep Important Books Visible: Keep all your important books on your desk—the ones that lift your spirits just by looking at them. Also, ensure your study routine is placed right in front of your eyes.
2. Stay Hydrated: Keep a water bottle within reach. Whenever you feel tired, drink some water. It is very effective in maintaining concentration.
3. Reward Yourself: Promise yourself a reward. After studying for 3–4 hours, treat yourself to a chocolate or your favorite cookies.
4. The "No Phone" Battle: Give yourself a strict rule: no touching your phone for at least 3 hours. You are not so important that the world will collapse if you don't check your phone for three hours. Consider this a tough personal battle to win.
5. Switch Subjects: Do not study the same subject continuously. Follow a difficult subject with an easier one. If you get bored, read a newspaper or a magazine instead.
6. Take Strategic Breaks: Remember the saying, "Rest and work are intertwined." If you get a headache, close your eyes for 10–15 minutes and meditate or rest.
7. Maintain a Healthy Sleep Cycle: In my opinion, staying up all night and feeling drowsy the whole day is a loss. Study in a way that doesn't compromise your sleep. For example, sleep at 12:00 AM and wake up at 6:00 AM. Adequate sleep in the morning keeps the mind fresh and helps you grasp information faster.
8. Quality over Quantity: Studying with focus for 2 hours is better than spending 10 hours mindlessly scrolling on your phone. Remember, the more focused you are, the more brilliant you become.
Stay on track by studying at least 10–12 hours every day. After 6 months, you will become a "super cyclone" of knowledge; no one will be able to hold you back!
