পুরান ঢাকার ঐতিহ্যের নাম চকবাজার ইফতার বাজার। রমজান মাসে এখানে প্রতিদিন হাজার হাজার মানুষ ইফতার কিনতে ও ঐতিহ্যবাহী খাবারের স্বাদ নিতে ভিড় করে।

এখানে পাওয়া যায় বিখ্যাত বড় বাপের পোলায় খায়, হালিম, কাবাব, বোরহানি, জিলাপি, বেগুনি, পেঁয়াজু সহ নানা রকম সুস্বাদু ইফতার। শুধু ঢাকার মানুষ নয়, দেশের বিভিন্ন জায়গা থেকেও মানুষ আসে এই ঐতিহ্যবাহী ইফতার বাজার দেখতে।
