Standing next to this tall building tonight, looking up at the night sky. It struck me. See that tiny speck of light up there?

That star is actually massively bigger than this entire building, maybe even bigger than all the buildings around combined. Yet, from down here, it looks so small, almost insignificant.

It got me thinking about life. Sometimes the things right in front of us can seem like such huge, overwhelming problems, blocking our entire view.

We get so caught up in what's immediate that we forget to look at the bigger picture, the vast possibilities that lie further down the road.

Those 'stars' – our larger goals and dreams – might seem distant and small right now, but they're still out there, waiting.

It's a reminder that what feels huge today might just be a small part of a much grander journey. Keep looking up.

In the middle of the blur of speeding cars and auto-rickshaws on a busy street, my eye was instantly drawn to this rickshaw-puller.

Despite what looks like a tough ride, he's got this genuine smile on his face. It's a simple moment, but it stands out against the rush of everything else.

Makes you think about where we find our happiness, doesn't it? Here's someone likely working hard, going through the chaos, yet still finding a reason to smile.

Maybe it's a reminder that even in the midst of the everyday hustle, with all its noise and speed, it's the small bits of joy and our attitude that really define our journey.

What small thing brought a smile to your face today?

I see so many different things every day, each with its own story. But then there are these eyes. There's a whole world in them, and looking into them, my world just makes sense.

It's funny how one person can change everything for you.

Before, I was just going through the motions, seeing the sunrise and the sunset.

But these eyes... they became the reason. They became the why behind all the what. My days feel incomplete and empty without them.

It’s a simple philosophy, I guess: that no matter how many interesting things you see in a day, the most beautiful and meaningful view is the one that gives your life a purpose.

These eyes are my purpose. Thought of sharing a glimpse of what makes my everyday complete.

Just spotted this lizard hanging out on the wall today. It was right in that narrow space between two surfaces, clinging on like it was the most natural thing in the world.

Made me think about how we often find ourselves in those in-between spaces in life, those transitional periods where we're not quite where we were and not quite where we're going. It can feel a bit precarious, like we're just holding on.

But this little guy seems so surefooted, so adapted to that very spot.

Maybe it's a reminder that there's a way to find your grip and even thrive in those in-between moments, just by being present and knowing how to hold on.

Ever feel like you're in an in-between space right now?

Caught a glimpse of this beautiful moon tonight, peeking through the bare branches and twigs. It's been a while since I've really stopped to look at it.

There's something about seeing the moon like that, framed by the night's quiet darkness. It reminds you that even when things feel a little tangled or obscured, a steady, calm light is always there, waiting to be seen.

It's a constant presence, a silent witness to everything that happens below. We just have to remember to look up.

Sometimes you just look into their eyes, right?

Saw this little kitten looking out from its playing cage today. That innocent, trusting gaze just hits you.

Animals, they give their whole heart, no questions asked. You feed them, show them a little kindness, and they're yours. They don't hold grudges, they don't scheme, they just offer pure, unadulterated love.

Makes you wonder why it's so hard for us humans sometimes, with all our complicated emotions and expectations.

Maybe we could learn a thing or two about unconditional love from these furry souls.

Let's be a little more like them, yeah? Spread some of that simple, honest love around.

[Note: the kitten was playing in the cage It's an open cage in a bird shop the kitten was not on sale]

Stepped into this waiting area today and felt a wave of anticipation in the air. So many parents, their faces a mix of pride and maybe a little nervousness, sitting alongside their children. You could tell this was a big day for them. Their university admissions.

Parents watching their kids stand on the edge of a new chapter, a step towards shaping their own lives, filled with so many hopes and dreams you could almost touch them.

It makes you think about the paths we take. Some will walk out of the university as winners whereas some will face a struggle beyond what they thought of. But isn't that how life is?

It's not really about winning some race or just following the crowd. It's more about figuring out what makes your own light shine and finding your way to make something meaningful out of it, wherever the path leads.

Wishing all these young ones good luck on their journey, wherever it takes them.

Rainy days are always an eye opener. Even with the sky looking all heavy and gray, life doesn't just stop, does it?

Saw this auto-rickshaw making its way through the downpour, headlights shining bright.

Look at how the streetlights and those headlights bounce right back up from the wet road—it's like even when things feel a bit dark, there's always some light pushing through, reflecting off whatever surface it can find.

Makes you think, doesn't it?

No matter how gloomy things get, people still have places to go, things to do. Just like that little auto, we keep moving, finding our way, one rain-soaked step at a time.

What keeps you going on your rainy days?

Spotted this tiny little butterfly this morning! I was just walking by when I noticed it resting on a twig. You can really see the detail on its wings—that beautiful, soft blue color with the little specks on it. It just sat there for a bit, soaking up the light before fluttering off. It’s a good reminder that if you slow down and look closely, you'll find some amazing things right in front of you.
What's a small detail you've noticed today?

Hello everyone, and welcome to my page "What I See in a Day".

The idea is simple: to share a daily glimpse of the world as I see it. You won't find fancy filters or staged shots here—just authentic, beautiful, and sometimes even mundane moments that make up my day.

I believe there's beauty everywhere, and I want to create a space where we can all appreciate the little things. From the vibrant colors of a street-side flower to the peaceful quiet of a cloudy sky, my hope is that these photos and videos will inspire you to find the beauty in your own day, too.

To kick things off, here is my very first post!
This picture, for me, perfectly captures the spirit of this page. It's a testament to the unexpected beauty that pops up in the most ordinary of places.

On a day that was mostly gray and overcast, the vibrant pink bougainvillea flowers were a stunning contrast. They frame a familiar street scene—a small shop with its tin roof and the winding power lines overhead.

It's not a picture-perfect landscape, but it's a real moment. It’s a reminder that even on a cloudy day, there are bursts of color and life waiting to be noticed. This is what this page is all about: seeing the magic in the everyday.

Thank you for joining me on this journey! I can't wait to share more with you.
