Kawachi Fuji Fairytale Flower Garden

Not far from Tokyo is the amazingly picturesque Kawachi Fuji Garden, consisting of millions of flowers. In Japan, these are quite common flowers, and Kawachi Fuji is far from the only place where they are used. Deciduous wisteria vines of all colors and shades of the rainbow, hanging from special frames, can be found in almost any park in Japan.

Four hours on the road - and from noisy Tokyo we find ourselves in a quiet fairytale garden, the main feature of which is that the flowers here hang like waterfalls from a kind of "ceiling", unlike no less beautiful, but more traditional European gardens, such as the French Marqueyssac.

The most beautiful place in Kawachi Fuji is undoubtedly the Wisteria Tunnel, whose name comes from the plant that covers the arch of the tunnel. The garden has not only hanging flowers, but also many ordinary flowers familiar to our eyes in special greenhouses.
