Jaydeep Chakrabarty Photography Photographer from Bangalore I am an IT consultant/photographer from Bangalore. HDR and product photography are my favourite areas of photography.

I am into photography for the last 1 year and have done couple of product shoots for clients. I also like to experiment with my compositions. I shoot with a 600D canon DSLR. Some lenses that I usually use are, 70-300mm, 17-40mm, 50mm, and yes my favourite 18-55. You can mail me : [email protected]

The 12 year boy from Dakhineshwar , who swims 50/60 times daily to mid ganga to put the people's diya there, so that the Diyas can stay alive longer in water. He says, he charges around 20 each trip and even for that he has to fight a lot with people. He probably thought I was not believing him and gave me a live demo of the fight. He was right, one lady agreed to pay him 15/- if he goes again to get her a bottle of holy Ganga water from mid Ganga. While we were talking, his younger sister came to give him some "Puri and Tarkari" (A famous kolkata snack), and he was explaining he has another sister and both of them go to school and study for free (ssa.nic.in) and he supports them and his aunt with the money he earns here. I dint have much cash to give him, as I don't carry cash, ended up paying him 726/- (Thats how much I had in my pocket including change).

I dint have to visit the main Kali temple of Dakhineswar anymore though!!
