On August 6, 2026, the Department of Peace, Conflict and Human Rights (PCHR) hosted a seminar at the newly opened BUP Senate Hall focused on the development of Bangladesh's participation in United Nations peacekeeping missions.
The event featured Brigadier General Shahedul Anam Khan, MDS, ndc, PSC (Retd.), who serves as the Executive Editor of The Deltagram, as the keynote speaker. During his lecture, he provided students with a comprehensive look at how Bangladesh’s involvement in these missions has evolved, emphasizing the practical lessons learned, operational experiences gained, and the increasing global recognition of the nation's contributions to security and peacekeeping.
It was an educational session that gave attendees a deeper understanding of Bangladesh's ongoing commitment to international peace efforts.
