It's one field where college degrees are not as important as a good eye, quality product and self decipline-well that's what photography is from my perspective. Photos and photography may seem to be two of the most simplest things we've ever known but the way a photo gotten from decent photography takes us back into the past and makes us relive in the moment and the way it interprets a story, make
s it more precious than ever. Maybe that's why I believe that helping people distinguish between a 'Photo' and a 'Good photo', is what makes someone a good photographer. I kept taking photos whenever I got chance. Like, any birthday party I went to, any picnic I had with friends, any beautiful spot that i visited I'd always take the camera with me and take photos. Actually it's normal cuz everyone takes photos like this. But what made me different is I didn't use to wait for any occasion to come to take photos, I just took it as my hobby, taking photos was something that I liked to do whenever I got some time off from my studies. At first i didn't seem to care about the subtle things while taking photos, like the brightness of light, the angle from where I took the photos and other complicated stuffs that make the job of taking photos difficult for us but make the photos look even greater than anyone of use could ever imagine. Gradually I tried to do little experiments with this and the results I got out of that were unbelievable, one single extra effort seemed to change the whole idea of the photo and how people are gonna take that. That's when I fell for it. One perfect shot that I got after taking many was all I wanted at the end of the day. I started to feet that I can do amazing things by clinging to this hobby of mine which now certainly has become more than that. Every creative work when it is praised and appreciated by more and more people, gives the creator more and more inspiration to keep on creating something that's even greater. Without being appreciated and supported for what you do, I don't think that it's really possible for you to carry on with whatever that is you are doing. Speaking of support, whose support do we need the most in any situation? Obviously and without a hint of doubt I'd say it's the support that you get from your family especially from your mom and dad. In case of me doing photography I also needed some support and appreciation for what I do and my family gave it to me and I'm honestly thankful for that. First they inspired me to carry on with this, they understood my passion for it and let's not mention the word "Talent" here because that's not the thing you need the most, all you need is love and interest for what you're doing. At least that's what I feel. Now that I got the support of my family all that was left for me to do was to step out there and do something with photography, do something that's praiseworthy and self satisfactory. I worked hard, tried to take photos more and more precisely and taking this whole photography thing more importantly. As I went on taking photos after photos, I saw myself improving day by day. Each and every photo inspired me more and also let me know that I can do better and I just have to stick to it. Then at last came the time when I thought I need to know how people are really taking my work. I needed to know what others think of my work and most importantly if they are liking what I'm doing that means if they are liking my photos. Apart from showing my works to my family and friends I thought of widening the range of publicity of my photos a little bit more, like taking it to the next level. To accomplish that goal I couldn't have thought of anything other than opening a fan page in facebook well which obviously seems to be the most popular site of social networking or should I say social gathering in this modern era. I started uploading my photos on that page and the support that I got was something I never dreamt of getting. Truth be told, soon enough I got so many support from people from all around the country that I got flattered by. I realized that this is what I really needed, a perfect appreciation of people for my creative works on photography. I was truly inspired like never before, it really opened my eyes and I got the confidence that I needed so badly. Now talking about the kinds of photography that I do or I like to do. Well as I've already said I began with "Ametuer photography" which technically is all about taking photos however you wish, something that we all do. Going with that there's "Event Photography" which means photos from diverese sectors of occasions like I mentioned earlier. And of course "Nature" is one of the main attractions of my photography because what we find in nature is impossible to find anywhere else. There are just no limit of taking photos from nature. I think all the greatest of photographers that have ever lived were certainly so strongly inspired and also influenced by nature whenever it came down to take photos of anything. Also there's photos from whereever i travelled. I find interest in both urban and countryside views but I may have a little weakness towards the rural people and their lives and the reason for it? Let's just say I'm a Bangladeshi citizen that's why.So there's another kind which is called "Portrait Photography" and I'd say that I'd like myself to be improved a lot in this sector because my first ever priority in photography is this one. To make this kind of photography more vivid to you I'd like you to know that "Portrait Photography" all about people that means anything that's related with people, they lifestyle, their culture and everthing else. It'd be a big mistake not to mention another side of my interest in photography and that's doing photography with "Indoor" stuffs. To me this Indoor Photography is all about creation and another thing that's needed to improve your skills of Indoor Photography is a good sense of humour. You've got to come up with new stories to create new photos. Maybe that's the reason why they include Indoor Photography with "Artistic Photography". So, these are mostly the kinds that I work with generally but I'm a sucker for kwowing and learning something's that new, challenging and of course what makes me happy. So I wouldn't say that these are all I ever intend to do rather I'd like you to believe that you're gonna get many more exciting stuffs from me as I go on living in one of my dreams which is photography. Well, anything that we do in our being enough passionate, makes us ask ourselves a question - "Are we satisfied?". Same question I keep asking myself all the time. But for now my answer is a 'No' because I'm not satisfied with what I've done so far. Yes, I consider myself lucky than most other persons considering the fact that I've come this far and that i didn't have to sacrifice my dream rather I got to chase it. Well, I like to call myself a "Perfectionist" especially when it's photography that we are talking about. As I haven't got any professional degree on photography yet, I'd really like to have one later and I wouldn't mind to take it as a profession of mine if I could one day. I believe that the day I'll be able to do something in photography that's worth a lot of praising, may not be the day when I'll feel that I've done enough because believe me anything you do in your life is not enough but I'll certainly feel that I'm also one of those succesful photographers who never gave up and never will too.
