Tor koyta chhobi chhilo. Kemon laglo please.
Passion for photography never dwindled. I started shooting in 1994. Internet was not so accessible those days—but photography books made the way of learning to play with lights. Got involved with many forums, including BPS (Bangladesh Photographers Society) and the Camera Recreation Club founded by Golam Kashem Daddy—the pioneering photo journalist in the country. I was awarded a CRC photo contest prize by Daddy in 1997. Days elapsed and I increasingly plunged into the art of photography. To be a part of a photographers’ society, in 1999 I joined Drik as a student and received a course on basic photography in the second batch of Pathshala, The South Asian Institute of Photography, which has been a torchbearer to many young photographers in Bangladesh.
To date, I have received ‘Photo of the week’ and 'Photo of the year' on Pixoto several times, have been acknowledged by ‘Eminence Photography Award’, and my photos have been used in many publications, including an international journal.
There came the digital age! Started photography afresh with a new fervor. The same old light, scene and essence, but the media is new—digital.
I like to know myself as a ‘photo artist’. I just verbalized the words of my moniker for photography—oboyob (meaning shape, form, etc.). I move along oboyob and shoot what comes in the way of life that allures me. Darkness has always attracted me and I love shooting on the dark. I believe, light indubitably creates a photo, but shadow doesn't do any less, I try to give equal ways to light and shadow. My interest in photography revolves around human lifestyle, social events, portraiture, macro… etc.

This is my album for product and event photography...
