On August 5, 2024, hundreds of Rohingya civilians attempting to flee escalating violence in Myanmar’s Rakhine State were targeted by drone strikes and heavy artillery shelling along the banks of the Naf River near the Bangladesh border. The attack resulted in massive loss of innocent lives, including many women and children trapped at the riverbank.
I will never forget seeing my Rohingya brothers and sisters and my parents being subjected to genocide by AA Terrorists group Arakan Army

🚨 BREAKING NEWS | Rohingya Camp-5 Landslide Tragedy Update

A devastating landslide struck a madrasa in Rohingya Camp-5 today, burying around 50 students beneath mud and under ground.

So far, 40 students have been rescued, while 9 have tragically lost their lives, most of them madrasa students. Rescue teams continue searching as several people are still believed to be missing.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and everyone affected by this heartbreaking tragedy. May the missing be found safely, and may those who lost their lives rest in peace.
