Life for us, the Rohingya refugees registered in 1992, has been a long journey of struggle, loss, and survival. For over three decades, we have lived far away from the homes we were forced to leave behind. Every day in the camps brings new challenges finding food, water, healthcare, and shelter remains a constant battle.

Our shelters are fragile, made of bamboo and plastic sheets, barely protecting us from storms and heavy rains. Children grow up without proper education, without playgrounds, and without knowing what freedom feels like. Mothers worry endlessly about their childrenโ€™s safety and health, while fathers work tirelessly just to provide a single meal a day. Life is filled with uncertainty, fear, and sadness, yet hope continues to live in our hearts.

The Rohingya have sought refuge in Bangladesh after fleeing persecution in Myanmar.

They came simply to survive. In Myanmar, they faced massacres where women were subjected to abuse, people were killed, and homes were burned.

Those who managed to survive escaped to Bangladesh with their families.

Now, it has been nearly 33 years since we have been living in Bangladesh.

this time, our youth have grown up, but many still do not know our history, our suffering, or what we have endured.

We want the new generation to learn this history, pursue education, and understand how to protect themselves.

We aim to share our story, our pain, and our history with the world.

This is not just our story it is a lesson in courage, resilience, and survival.

We, the 1992 Rohingya refugees, escaped from the Myanmar governmentโ€™s genocide and took shelter in Bangladesh and other countries. ๐Ÿ’”
Even after so many years, we still have no ID cards, no freedom to move, and no stable life. We are living in pain and uncertainty every day. ๐Ÿ˜”
All we ask for is our right to live with peace, dignity, and recognition as human beings. โœŠ

This photo reflects the and situation of the 1992 Refugee Camp.

We, the refugees of 1992, are still living in darkness today. We do not know when we will be able to step out of this .
