Grateful and proud to share that my first documentary film, “𝗣𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝘁,” will be screened at the 𝟮𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗻 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 & 𝟭𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

What makes this especially meaningful is that I made the film using just my 𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲 and a 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹. Turning a simple setup into a story that’s now being recognised on an international platform feels like a deeply personal win!

This journey has reaffirmed my belief that 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀, and passion can truly bridge the gap.

Thankful for this opportunity, and I’ll try my best to be present there and meet the amazing people!

Bangladeshi pottery is not just an art; it is the heartbeat of our heritage. Each curve tells its own story, and each crack holds memories.

Fortunately, I had the chance to explore this art form in Banshkhali. I had always wanted to see the beauty of pottery with my own eyes, and it was truly a WONDERFUL experience.

Creating pottery is a lengthy process that demands patience, precision, and, most importantly, a PASSION for the craft to achieve outstanding results.

Bangladeshi pottery elegantly combines tradition with the beauty of terracotta ❤️❤️

চিঠি।

দুই অক্ষরের ছোট্ট একটি শব্দ এই চিঠি। কিন্তু মজার ব্যাপার এর বিস্তার অসীম! অনেককাল আগে থেকে আজ ২০২৪ সালে এসেও চিঠির মাহাত্ম্য কিছু মানুষের জীবনের সাথে আষ্ঠেপৃষ্ঠে জড়িয়ে আছে।

মাঝেমধ্যে নিজেই নিজের লেখা চিঠি পড়ে অবাক হই। আমার ছোট্ট পৃষাকে প্রতিনিয়ত লেখা চিঠি জানি না সে কখন পড়তে পারবে! কেমন লাগবে তার পড়ে? হাজারো কখন কেন এর উত্তর জানার জন্য মিশির আরো কিছুদিন যে ধৈর্য্য ধরতে হবে!

মাঝেমধ্যে হাসিও পায় লরিসকে লেখা চিঠিগুলো পড়ে। ছেলেমানুষী! কোনো অর্থ নেই লিখে কিন্তু প্রত্যেকটা চিঠিতে যেন মিশে আছে প্রজ্ঞার দৃঢ় প্রতিজ্ঞ মনোভাব যে সে যেভাবেই হোক তার একদিন তার লেখা চিঠি সে সঠিক মানুষকে দিতে পারবে!

সবচেয়ে মজার ব্যাপার এই পাগলা স্পার্স ফ্যান তার টটেনহামকেও চিঠি লিখতে ছাড়ে না! হয়তো কখনো কাগজে কলমে, নয়তো বা ই-মেইল এর মাধ্যমে!
আমি নিজে চিঠি লিখতে যেমন ভালোবাসি তেমনি আশেপাশের পছন্দের মানুষগুলোকে নিজের হাতে লেখা চিঠি কিংবা ছোট্ট চিরকুট দিতে ভালোই লাগে।

আবার কখনো বা নিজেকে। হয়তো কখনো প্রিয় "অতীত আমি" হয়তো বা কখনো প্রিয় "ভবিষ্যৎ আমি"

আর পেতে?
সে কার না ভালো লাগে!?

The last three years have been a journey of determination and passion for me! The journey hasn't been easy, but the support that I received from my close friends and my sister from the very beginning was priceless. I am grateful for their constant encouragement, which kept me going, even during difficult times.

I am especially grateful to my mother, who allowed me to pursue my passion for photography while emphasizing the importance of balancing it with my studies! When I started my photography page, I had trouble finding the right name for it. But after three years, I finally found the perfect name for it. চিত্রা- Chitra; my mother's name. Today, I want to take this moment to dedicate this page to my maa.

Even though I am unsure of what the future holds for my little page, I am proud of the progress I have made so far. I would like to thank everyone who has been following me and leaving beautiful comments. Every word of encouragement that I receive from you inspires me to work harder and improve my skills!!

To be honest, I have not been able to give my 100% to this account due to other things, but I promise to work on improving my skills and providing better work in the upcoming days.

And finally, welcome to চিত্রা-Chitra. A place where my passion for photography meets my dedication to hard work.

But still feels like yesterday. It was really hard for me to manage both the set up and the foam! As the foam was disappearing in less than 2 minutes! I had literally nothing to click picture of, so I thought why not this one!

QUAIL EGGS!

Finally posting after ages!! I got this idea from my friend Eshi on a random day of this month when she asked me to spill some ideas on quail photography. After writing some ideas, I was low-key wanted to take some shots of quail eggs all by myself so badly!

So, here we are! Managed to take some shots after ages (my hands were literally shaking while holding the mobile)
Maybe in the next post I'll share a cooked version of this? Who knows, let's see!👀

It was my DREAM to work with Hacchudraws. Not because she is my friend (obviously) but because I'm a HUGEEE fan of her artworks! Now, she started অহর্নিশ - aharrnish where you can find some handmade jaw dropping collections! PROUD OF YOUUUUUUU!! 🧿🖤

✨১১ই ফেব্রুয়ারী, ২০২৩✨
মনে রাখার মতো একটি দিন

গতকালের অভিজ্ঞতা শেয়ার করার আগে, কিছুক্ষণের জন্য ২০২০-এ ফিরে যাই, কারণ আমি আগে কখনও এই বিষয় নিয়ে লিখিনি। সেই সময় গান খুব একটা শোনা হত না। তবে জার্নাল করতে গিয়ে বেশ কিছু গান শুনতে শুরু করলাম। কিন্তু সব গানের মধ্যে তাহসানের গান এবং তার ব্যক্তিত্ব আমাকে সবচেয়ে বেশি আকৃষ্ট করেছে। তাঁর সেই বিখ্যাত "আলো" কে না শুনেনি! তবে তখন কেবল বিখ্যাত গানেই আটকে ছিলাম না। একটা সময় ছিল যখন আমি ২৪/৭ তাঁর গান গাইতাম এবং শুনতাম। বলা যায়, রীতিমতো ছোটো খাটো একজন ফ্যান।

প্রায় ৩ বছর পর যখন তার কনসার্টে যাওয়ার সুযোগ পেলাম, বিশ্বাসই করতে পারলাম না! টিকিট হাতে পাওয়ার মুহূর্তটাও ছিল স্মরণীয়। যখন দেখলাম, অনেকক্ষণ অপেক্ষা করার পর আমার প্রিয় গান "ঈর্ষা" দিয়ে কনসার্ট শুরু করলেন, অনুভূতিটাই অন্যরকম ছিল!

তবে এত কথা বলার পিছনে ছোটো আরেকটা উদ্দেশ্য আছে। অনেকদিন থেকেই কিছু কনসার্টের মুহূর্ত ক্যামেরা বন্দী করার স্বপ্ন ছিল আমার। যেহেতু আমি ফটোগ্রাফির অন্যান্য সেক্টরে খুব বেশি দক্ষ না, তাই এই রকম নতুন কিছু করতে বেশ আগ্রহী ছিলাম। কিন্তু কখনোই ভাবি নি যে, এমন এক কনসার্টে এই সুযোগ পাব। আমি ৯০% নিশ্চিত ছিলাম যে, আমাকে অনেক দূর থেকে ছবি তোলার জন্য আমার যথাসাধ্য চেষ্টা করতে হবে। কিন্তু মনে হচ্ছে আমার দুটি স্বপ্ন একই সাথে সত্যি হলো!!

Tahsan Congratulations on your HUGE success! It's been 20 years since you've come to this industry! Many more milestones are coming for sure! And we, the people of Chattagram are so lucky to have you yesterday!
