Our exhibition titled “East and West Together,” organized by the Azerbaijan–Netherlands Odlar Yurdu Society with the support of the Coordination Council of Azerbaijanis in the Netherlands and the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, was presented on April 18 — the International Day for Monuments and Sites.
This exhibition highlights one of Azerbaijan’s most remarkable values: for centuries, diverse religious monuments have coexisted side by side in harmony and mutual respect. Mosques, churches, and synagogues standing together within the same land are a living testament to the country’s deep-rooted tradition of tolerance. This diversity is not only a part of our history, but also a strength of our present and a foundation for our future.
At the crossroads of East and West, the peaceful coexistence of cultures and beliefs represents one of Azerbaijan’s most meaningful messages to the world.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to this exhibition, and especially to Ms. Frangiz Mir-Bagirova. Frangiz Mir-Bagirova fans Azərbaycan Respublikasının Diasporla İş üzrə Dövlət Komitəsi Vatican News
