🎄 CHRISTMAS CHARITY MINIS 🎄
As promised my Charity Minis are back for another year and this time I’m so excited to be offering a Christmas Mini with this initiative. Christmas is such a special time, full of magic and wonder. It’s honestly my favourite time of every year, even more so since becoming a mother. But I know how often there are little ones and families that instead of spending their time at home and enjoying the festivities and all the magic that comes with it they are instead confined to the hospital instead for their little ones. The QLD children’s hospital does an amazing job at decorating and having so many people donate their time to creating an environment that is as joyful and magical as possible. But without donations this wouldn’t be possible so I’m excited to pick the Children’s Hospital Foundation as the charity that all the session fees booked for these minis will go to. We are no stranger to the Queensland Children’s Hospital and therefore have experienced and seen first hand the magic this foundation creates.

So if you are looking to get some Christmas Photos taken in a beautiful and relaxed studio style be sure to book in a spot before they are gone. ♥️🎄

Location: Share Studio, Musgrave Street, Rockhampton
Dates: Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th November
Times: 11:00am, 11:30am, 12:00pm, 12:30pm, 1:00pm, 1:30pm, 2:00pm, 2:30pm

I might regret this but to be honest I really don’t think I will. Social media and I have always had a love/hate relationship and I go on a hiatus every so often. When I first met my husband I didn’t have any socials. I read books and I reached out to friends in more meaningful ways.
So although I may not have been posting lately I’ve still been taking up my time scrolling, lurking, comparing, doing all the things. Recently our eldest turned 8. I can’t believe how fast 8 years can go by and honestly I’m ashamed of how much of that was probably spent staring at my phone on this app when I should have been doing a million and one other things that truly betters me as a wife, a mother, a photographer and all the other hats I affectionately wear and love. I always tell myself ‘I have to stay on socials for my business, I have to stay on trend or know at least what the trend is.’ I really love my business and the community here, but I’m terrible at sticking to my own boundaries on time limits. But I know that I don’t want to look back on my journey through motherhood and my children’s childhood and constantly feel like I’m not doing nearly enough in all aspects. So I’m going off socials. For how long I’m not sure. I want to see if I can still successfully run a business without social media. My page will stay, I can’t bring myself to deactivate my account cause I love the time and work I have put into this space. So I hope you’ll still share my account and refer your loved ones and friends to me cause I would absolutely love to be yours and their photographer. The last part of 2025 was filled with the most wholesome family sessions. The fact that I get to capture moments like these for you is an honour I’ll forever be grateful for. How gorgeous is this family’s backyard?! It is a photographers dream. The hazy sunset light, the mountains and the deep greens from the flourishing plants. I can’t wait to be back there again next week to meet their newest addition. Pinch me! 🥹🥰
