I recently had the pleasure as always to capture some images for Tiarn Florence for the re-release of her debut poetry book 'Growing Pains'.

I always adore working with Tiarn, and I am so grateful to call her a friend, but also to see the true magic she spreads into the world - either through her art, poetry, writing or just the shining light of a human she is.

There is currently an incredible exhibition to honour the journey of her debut poetry book - Growing Pains The Immersion - at Art Post in Gympie

Not only is it a beautifully moving exhibition, it truly is an immersion, and there are some great events Tiarn is running throughout the exhibition period.

Tiarn's work is healing for so many people, but she also has a gift for helping others tap into their own creativity and the events she is offering are too good to miss out.

My last slide of this post has the important dates 💛

Cost of living is crazy these days, but I still believe getting family photos is so important.

In a time where the price of everything seems to be getting higher and higher, I’ve decided to go the other way and reduce my pricing.

I’m not here to be mysterious, my pricing for family shoots was $550, and now I’m dropping them to $350.

As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this…

My beautiful sister in law has a cute little coffee van biz and we got to capture some branding shots for her last weekend. If you ever need a coffee van for an event in the south Burnett and surrounds, she is your lady. Some of the best tasting coffee I’ve had 🙌🏻☕️

Sharing some shots from this beautiful weekend shoot with this gorgeous fam. There’s something so powerful about a growing belly and the quiet magic of in-home sessions.

It’s been quiet here for a while. I needed time.
To sit with myself. To unstick. To come home.

And in that stillness, something began to shift—
a gentle knowing that I was ready for a new season.

So today, aligned with the full moon, I’m stepping into that season…
with a new name, a grounded heart, and an open creative soul.

Welcome to Katelyn Neilsen Creative.

and all the wild, tender messiness of creative life.

This is my creative home, and I’m so glad you’re here.

✨ Magical moments in an afternoon walk✨

I’m not sure what to share in this space, I don’t have the time or space to sit and film chats or videos right now, so I’m just going to share more of my photographs.

Is that cool with you?
