I'm still a little overwhelmed by this.
I entered three of my paintings into the exhibition "Stories" at Gateway Gallery.

My painting, titled "The quiet pressure of Becoming", was awarded Best in Show, and at the end of the exhibition it will be going to its new home.

The original poem displayed under the painting was an important part of the work, helping to tell the story.

Some days art feels like a conversation with yourself. It's a gift when that conversation reaches others.
