It’s time to go and drop off my entries for the Winton Show photography competition 🖼. I've got a good mix, I think, spread across a number of categories. Wish me luck 🤞

Spotted this Bearded Dragon a few weeks ago out in Bladensburg National Park. It was in the middle of the road so we relocated it to the safety of a roadside tree 🦎

These Grey Butcherbirds were too busy catching food for their fledgling to pay much attention to me, which meant I could get some nice photos without them flying away.

I'm interrupting your regularly scheduled viewing (birds 🐦) with a couple of sunsets.

Over the last few days I've been lucky to go to the Festival of Outback Opera concerts in Winton and Longreach. Both performances were great but I think Winton won the battle of the sunsets 🌇 😍

First two photos are Winton and third is Longreach. All were taken with my phone because technically I was working 📱 📸

Noisy Miners might be a very common bird but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve their own photo shoot, especially when they’re posing so nicely on the flower spikes of grass trees like these ones.
