Recently I had the sweetest photoshoot with a precious newborn baby boy and his proud 2-year-old big brother! Boys generally bring lots of energy into the session, and yet there are also these beautiful moments of quiet love and tenderness. Watching their bond beginning to blossom was truly special.

Today, this handsome little guy joined me in the studio to celebrate his first birthday with a Moana-themed cake smash! His amazing mum, Jamie, crafted the perfect setup with a homemade knitted outfit, a boat, and adorable Moana characters. This sweet boy had a blast with his cake, but it was bath time and bubbles that really stole his heart and brought out the biggest smiles!

Gorgeous Miss E was absolutely perfect during her newborn session today – she slept through all of the different poses and settled easily! Meanwhile, her big sister had a blast exploring all the toys in the studio. Newborn sessions can take up to 3 hours and it can be tough for young siblings, but the toys make it a little easier (and a lot more fun)! So grateful to capture these sweet moments for this beautiful family.
